Early Years Extra Curricular
We have specialist teaching for Gymnastics and Movement, Modern Foreign Languages (French Club), Music and Performing Arts (Confidence Club).
There will be many opportunities for educational visits in Early Years and they will be included on the School Calendar for each term.
These can include:
- Picnics in Victoria Park
- Visit to the Beau Manor Hall
- Visit to Gorse Hill City Farm or the Animal Club
- Visit to the theatre and the Christmas pantomime
We also welcome many people to the school to give educational talks and activities. We always have a visit from the emergency services, and recent talks have included a gardening presentation by a local garden centre and an opportunity to learn about exotic animals and insects.
School concerts, exhibitions and performances include Christmas Nativity Play, class assemblies, art exhibition, and a gymnastics display.
Opportunities for individual peripatetic music lessons are available.
There is an Early Years afterschool programme with two hour-long sessions – from 3.00 to 4.00 pm and from 4.00 to 5.00 pm. You can book both if you wish.
The list below is not exhaustive. Some clubs on offer are
- Arts and Crafts Club
