School Council

Students are encouraged to join the student council committee, where they have a meeting with the Headmaster to discuss their ideas for the school. We believe opportunities like this are integral to ensuring the growth of our students into young leaders, and teaching them that their voice matters.

Here are some of the things that our pupils enjoy about Student Council:

“We talked about being kind and things to add to the school. It is a big responsibility and it showed leadership and teamwork.”

“We have discussed clubs, new events and changes that might happen to the school. In School Council we have learnt to be a role model and a leader.”

“We do school meetings. They are usually about how we can improve the school and what we can add to the school.”

“We learnt how to take on the role of being a leader and taking responsibility, and would share ideas together.”

“To be in School Council you must have leadership, honesty, and be helpful, kind and considerate.”

“You get responsibility for what happens in the school, and get to negotiate on how to improve it. You have leadership and you can help the school be fairer.”
