About Our School
Founded in 1878, we are a small, family-run, independent school located centrally in the heart of Leicester. We provide a warm, nurturing environment, where every child feels at home from the moment they arrive.
We exist for families who want their child to be truly known- academically, socially and emotionally- and who value confidence, belonging and wellbeing as much as academic success.
Our size is our strength: no child is overlooked or lost in the crowd, and every child is supported to develop important skills, build confidence, and progress academically, in preparation for a fast-changing world.

We are proud of our rich history and facilities. Our school has four levels which include a hall and a newly refurbished playground.
Our addition of Bertie's Nursery has allowed us to create a consistently supportive environment from children's earliest milestones, by welcoming children from 2 years old.
